Up

April 19, 2003

Today I had to get up and go to the doctor. Something about my final puppy shots. All I know is that Dr. Cruzen is a really nice biped and even though he gave me some stings, I got a shiny new piece of jewelry to wear.

I thought I was going to just come home and have a nap before my afternoon walk, but nope! Sean and Tara put me in the car and took me to see my boyfriend, Mousse. I get to see Mousse almost every day during the week, but not very often on weekends so I was pretty excited. Then everyone got in the car and we went to a place called the beach.

It was a cloudy day.  but that was OK because I don't like to get the sun in my eyes.

After we found a place to park, we had to go find somewhere to get poop baggies (humans are weird), so we walked along the sea wall for a bit.

Hmmmmm....we got the baggies, why aren't we going to the beach?

I mean, it's right down there!

Fine...I'm going to stare at it really, really hard and hope the humans figure out what I want.

Telepathy sure is hard.

While we waited for the humans to get organized, Mousse and I posed for some photos.

Don't we look fabulous in our beach wear?

FINALLY! We get to go where all the action is!

Oh my...the sand is so warm. I have to pee.

Come on, Mousse! You're wasting valuable time!

This is the biggest splash pool I've ever seen!

And even though it tastes bad, it's loads of fun

My friend, Nikki, shoulda worn some pants...I'm gonna grab her and run!

ooof!

Hey, I'm getting the hang of this!

Boing!

This is fun!

Watch out, Mousse!

Wow...I need to take a break.

Mousse is heading back to meet me on the sand.

Don't we make a cute couple?

And then it's back to playing!

And untangling...

And some love...

Whaddya mean I'm not supposed to eat the jellyfish?

I guess I'll just nibble on your feet instead

I snuck some pictures of Mousse when he wasn't looking...isn't he dreamy?

This is one of my human friends, David. I like to jump on his face when he's trying to nap

He looks lonely here...maybe he needs me to jump on him?

At the end of the afternoon, Mousse wrote in the sand.

I love Mousse, too!

Tara is weird and likes to take pictures of things lying on the sand...
