RUFUS! Rufus is living with us as a foster dog. He's a 7 year old Aussie/Chow (?) cross, who is just about the sweetest guy you could ever meet. July 24, 2007 Rufus has been here for a day now, and he's still very shy and insecure. He seems pretty sad, but cheers up if he gets a belly scratch and a treat :-)
Day 5 and Rufus is getting into the swing of things. He'll not cuddle up with you on the couch, bark at perceived intruders, and run around the yard without worry. When he growls and plays he sounds like a demented teddy bear...it's hilarious! His favourite spot in the house is the ultra-comfortable, king-sized guest bed. He IS a guest, after all!
